About Us

The owners of BHES understand the importance and value of access to vital community resources. In February 2008, when we opened our first office in Plainfield, Illinois, we committed to providing exceptional behavioral health and education services and to providing outstanding customer service to the residents of Plainfield and the surrounding communities.
In February 2011, we opened our Bucktown/Wickerpark office, and in December 2011, we opened our New Lenox office, which was located in the Medical Services Building (Pavilion A) on the new Silver Cross Hospital campus. In December 2015, after five enjoyable years providing services in Chicago, we decided to close our Bucktown/Wicker Park office to focus more on our two suburban locations. In December 2016, after five enjoyable years providing services in New Lenox, we decided to close our New Lenox office to focus more on our Plainfield location. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the difficult decision to discontinue our education services. However, we continue to strive to provide outstanding behavioral health services and customer service to the residents of Plainfield, and the surrounding communities. Along the way, we have been fortunate to assemble an experienced, dedicated, and diverse group of professionals and administrative staff who are extremely committed to helping BHES achieve its high-reaching goals.
We currently provide psychological testing, individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, and psychiatric medication management services for children through adults. This approach allows us to provide a high-level, comprehensive array of outpatient behavioral health services and continuity of care to those under our care.
