Elizabeth Brucker, M. Ed.
Ms. Brucker attended Villanova University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1991. After graduating, she worked at Abbott Laboratories in the Diagnostic Division as a Chemist for 8 years. While working at Abbott Laboratories, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a high school chemistry teacher and enrolled in DePaul University's Masters of Education program.
She earned her Masters of Education in the summer of 2000 and began her teaching career as a high school chemistry teacher at Niles West High School in the fall of 2000. She worked for Niles West High School for 5 years and relocated to the Plainfield area in the summer of 2005 after getting married.
Ms. Brucker began working at Naperville North High School as a chemistry teacher in the fall of 2005 and continues that employment to date.
During the summer of 2007, Ms. Brucker completed Concordia University's Type 75 certification program for school administrators. She has taught all levels of chemistry, including honors and AP, has coached both the Niles West and Naperville North Science Olympiad teams and has tutored many students in chemistry and math. Further, she is a member of the National Tutoring Association.
