Katrina Ferracane, D.N.P.
Katrina Ferracane is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago after completing her clinical rotations at the Institute for Juvenile Research and Miles Square Health Center with the University of Illinois in Chicago. She was a psychiatric registered nurse for over ten years and prior to this, served as a combat medic in the United States Army. She treats ages 7 through adult with experience in anxiety and mood disorders, psychosis, ADHD, and other mental health disorders. Her treatment approach is to explore the dynamic relationship among mind, body and spirit while drawing upon a variety of interventions. She chooses to focus on the client’s strengths, skills, and resources to create agreed upon treatment goals. “With mutual respect, effort and perseverance, my client’s experience a greater sense of well-being and understanding on how to move forward in their life following our work together." She is providing services from our Plainfield office.
