Winlynn Lin, M.Ed.
Winlynn is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Boston University. She completed her Master's Degree at the University of Georgia. She has had over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including: community based case management, outpatient programs, partial hospitalizations, a comprehensive residential facility, and in private practice settings.
Winlynn's interests and specialties include assisting people to overcome stress, anxiety, depression, and their relationship concerns. She is also effective at teaching parents how to manage their children's everyday and most troubling behavioral issues. She is successful at working with the child to decrease symptoms, and increase positive behavior. Her comfort with helping families and quickly resolving their concerns provides the relief that the family is looking for. She has worked extensively with children who have had attachment issues, and who suffer with post traumatic stress.
Winlynn uses integrative interventions that best fit the individual's needs. She is strength-based, client-focused, and committed to helping her clients reach their goals.
